Psychology research shows that an Authoritative Parenting Style is best for kids, but that name is terrible (too similar to Authoritarian Parenting).  The strategies essential to Authoritative Parenting (high warmth, responsiveness, and support coupled with clear expectations and boundaries) are integrated into my 5 C’s parenting framework and what I renamed Amazing Parenting.
